Help us make founder crisis less brutal.

Fortitude is pre-launch and funded entirely by people who believe this should exist. Every donation, every volunteer hour, and every shared link gets us closer.

    Where your money goes

We're raising seed funding to take Fortitude from idea to registered charity. Here's what donations will fund:

    1

    Charity registration

Legal setup, governing documents, Charity Commission process, and compliance

    2

    Infrastructure

Website, secure systems for confidential referrals, and volunteer management

    3

    Outreach

Reaching founders who are struggling in silence and don't know help exists

    4

    First pilot

Running initial triage sessions, peer circles, and building a vetted referral network

All donations are made via GoFundMe and protected by their Giving Guarantee — meaning you get your money back if something isn't right.

We'll publish regular updates on what we've spent and what we've achieved. No black boxes.

    Make a donation

Every pound helps us get closer to launch. Your donation funds charity registration, infrastructure, outreach, and our first pilot triage sessions.

All donations are made securely via GoFundMe and protected by their Giving Guarantee — full money-back protection if something isn't right.

We can't offer Gift Aid yet (that requires registered charity status), but we'll be in touch with supporters as soon as we can. If you'd prefer to pledge support and donate later, register your interest and we'll follow up.

    £25

Could cover the cost of setting up one triage call with a founder in crisis.

    £100

Could fund a peer support circle session, bringing together a small group of founders navigating similar challenges.

    £500

Could sponsor a founder through the full Stabilise phase — from first contact to a clear, practical plan.

These are illustrative amounts to show the kind of impact your donation can have. All funds support Fortitude's charitable mission.

    Volunteer with Fortitude

We're looking for people who want to give 1–2 hours a month to help founders in crisis.

We're building a volunteer network of people who have real experience, genuine empathy, and a couple of hours to spare. Here's what that might look like:

    Founder mentors

You've been through business failure, burnout, or crisis yourself. You're willing to have honest, confidential conversations with founders who are going through it now. No qualifications needed — just lived experience and a willingness to listen.

    Specialist volunteers

You have professional expertise that founders in crisis often need but can't afford — legal, financial, HR, communications, or insolvency. You're willing to give a short initial consultation or point someone in the right direction.

    Community hosts

You're good at bringing people together. You'd help facilitate peer support circles — small groups of founders supporting each other through shared experience.

    Connectors

You know people. You can introduce us to potential partners, funding sources, or organisations that share our mission.

All volunteers will be briefed on confidentiality and safeguarding before engaging with any founder. We're building proper structures — this isn't ad-hoc.

    Partner with us

If you run a business, a fund, an accelerator, or a professional services firm, there are ways to support Fortitude that go beyond donations:

    Sponsor a pilot programme

Fund a cohort of triage sessions or peer support circles and see the direct impact of your support.

    Offer pro-bono services

Legal, accounting, HR, or communications support that founders in crisis desperately need.

    Employee volunteering

Let your team give back by volunteering as mentors or specialist advisors through Fortitude.

    Refer founders in need

If you work with entrepreneurs who are struggling, point them our way. We'll handle the rest.

We're open to creative partnerships. If you've got an idea, we'd love to hear it.

    Get in touch about partnerships

    Spread the word

Not everyone can donate or volunteer — but you can still help by sharing Fortitude with someone who needs it, or with someone who might want to support the mission.
